Your HTML is Ready – What’s Next?

Here are a few important things you need to know.

Review

It’s time to review and approve your HTML. To get started click the link(s) we provided to you via email. You’ll be prompted with a pop-up asking for the username and password that we included in the email.

At this stage, links in your design won’t be clickable. If your project includes a CMS integration, everything will function as expected once that part is complete.

If things don’t look quite right at first, try performing a hard refresh (use Ctrl + F5 on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac), or clear your browser’s cache to ensure you’re seeing the most recent version of your project.

Feedback

We want to make it easy for you to share your thoughts. You can send feedback however you prefer:

  • Email
  • Google Doc or Word Doc
  • Our project management system (we can invite you to a task list)
  • Your project management system (send us an invite!)

Whichever method you choose, screenshots with each task are super helpful! They make it easy for us to see exactly what you mean.

After receiving your feedback, we’ll take care of anything in scope right away, and if something falls outside the original scope, we’ll send a quick quote before moving forward. We code at a careful 1:1 ratio to the design and spend a great deal of time making everything perfect, so any design changes may incur additional costs.

Please send us your feedback as quickly as possible so we can begin incorporating it. Project timelines and ETAs are subject to change depending on when we receive your feedback and how many rounds you send in.

You have up to 60 days to submit feedback, which is way more time than most clients ever need! Anything after that is considered out of scope.

Approval

Once everything looks perfect, just send us a quick email to let us know you approve the HTML.

  • For HTML-only projects, once you request your files, we’ll package everything up and send them your way. Requesting the files means you’re happy with them as-is, and your 90-day code guarantee will begin at that time.
  • If your project includes another phase (like CMS integration), we won’t begin until you approve the HTML—so be sure to let us know ASAP! It’s much easier for us to take care of any HTML feedback now, before we start the CMS integration. For this reason, changes to this phase after approval may be out of scope, so please make sure you’re 100% happy before giving us the go-ahead. To move forward, approval and payment for the next phase are required.
