Review

It’s time to review your WordPress project. We invite your feedback on both the front-end user-facing portion of the website and the WordPress dashboard.

To open your project or log in to the WordPress dashboard, you’ll first need to enter the credentials we provided via email in the pop up shown once you click your project link.

We’ve already invited you to the WordPress dashboard as an administrator. If you didn’t receive the invitation, you can easily reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page and using your email address or your first name as the username.

To access the login page, just add /wp-admin to the end of your project link, e.g. https://project.wpengine.com/wp-admin

Feedback

We want to make it easy for you to share your thoughts. You can send feedback however you prefer:

• Email
• Google Doc or Word Doc
• Our project management system (we can invite you to a task list)
• Your project management system (send us an invite!)
• MarkUp link (we can generate one for you)

Whichever method you choose, screenshots with each task are super helpful! They make it easy for us to see exactly what you mean.

After receiving your feedback, we’ll take care of anything in scope right away, and if something falls outside the original scope, we’ll send a quick quote before moving forward. We code at a careful 1:1 ratio to the design and spend a great deal of time making everything perfect, so any design changes may incur additional costs.

Please send us your feedback as quickly as possible so we can begin incorporating it. Project timelines and ETAs are subject to change depending on when we receive your feedback and how many rounds you send in.

You have up to 60 days to submit feedback, which is way more time than most clients ever need! Anything after that is considered out of scope.

Hosting

If you’re looking for a hosting provider, we recommend WP Engine, which we use ourselves.

For most clients, we recommend the following configuration and providers:

• Domain: Porkbun.com
• DNS: Cloudflare
• Hosting: WP Engine, Kinsta, or a similar high-quality host

Please note that we do not recommend GoDaddy for any web services. If you choose to use GoDaddy, your website launch or other GoDaddy account changes may be delayed by 1-3+ business days. Unfortunately, these delays will be out of our control, as we are fully at the mercy of GoDaddy’s algorithms, policies, and limitations.

Launch

If you choose to host with us, we can launch your website very quickly as the files are already where they need to be. If you choose to self host, we’ll be happy to migrate your project files on your behalf. One transfer to standard web hosts is included with every project at no additional cost.

To launch your project, we’ll need:

1. The URL of the live website where these files should be moved
2. WordPress admin access (if the website currently uses WordPress)

4. Domain access (if changing hosts)

Requesting the launch means you’re happy with the work and ready to take it live. Please make sure to review everything before requesting the launch, as this confirms your approval to move forward.

We handle launches Monday through Thursday, typically during U.S. overnight hours, to minimize any downtime. We do not schedule launches on Fridays, weekends, or holidays because we want to be available to help you with any urgent post-launch issues.

Once your site is launched, you’ll be covered by our 90-day code guarantee starting from the launch date.
