Mary Marnell is Managing Partner at Hey Reliable, a front-end and WordPress development agency known for delivering clean, reliable code for agencies, marketing teams, and growing businesses. She joined the company in 2017, became partner in 2019, and has helped guide its growth ever since.
Mary's perspective is shaped by having worked on both sides of the industry. Before joining Hey Reliable, she ran a small design studio that regularly outsourced development—an experience that gave her firsthand understanding of the frustrations creative teams face when code doesn't measure up. That insight now drives her focus on precision, communication, and quality assurance across every project.
With a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia, Mary brings an artist's eye to development work. Her interests in art, architecture, and historic preservation continue to influence her approach: attention to detail, respect for craft, and a commitment to creating work built to last.
